Our first month in Costa Rica
Updates
We traveled safely, and arrived safely in Costa Rica with all people and luggage accounted for. After a little time to adjust, all five of us started at a new school. It has been good, but definitely a big transition for everyone. We are mostly settled in now and are starting to get into a routine.
What a blessing it has been to be in such a beautiful country with friendly people, who are willing to practice Spanish with us! We have mostly stayed close to school and home, focused on our studies; but we had a long weekend for Costa Rican Independence Day, and were able to get outside the city a bit with some other students to visit some waterfalls and see some animals up close and personal. Anna Belle was especially excited to be able to pet her favorite animal, the sloth.
