Update: December 2019/January 2020

Happy New Year!

Updates

We've had an eventful couple of months! In chronological order, here are some of the things that have happened since our last update. Pix are below.

- We visited an old friend who lives a few hours away (Thanksgiving on the beach)

-Our car died on the highway (We made it home. The car is still in a coma)

-Simmy was diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis. He has been slowly but steadily improving by keeping on an elimination diet (no eggs, dairy, wheat, or beans)

- Our banana tree fell under the weight of the bananas (the bananas were delicious)

- We said goodbye to old friends (a big part of life in the international community)

- We celebrated Christmas and welcomed visiting family (there's a great airbnb within walking distance)

- We welcomed new friends (including our teammates, the Liberda family)

- We started a new semester at language school (poco a poco)
