Update: May, 2021

Ciudad del Este, Paraguay

This month Stephen had the opportunity to visit Ciudad del Este, and see the exciting work that is being done in the city we plan to work in long-term. You can read more about it here, but the short version is that unreached people outreach, international community outreach, and future leader development are all happening within a very small radius. It's exciting work that we are excited about.

The local churches continue to pivot as conditions and restrictions phase in and out. Some ministries have been repeatedly postponed, but others have continued and even launched. Please pray for men's ministry, marriage ministry, and international ministry. As always, our primary focus and prayer request in Asuncion is for the continuing development of local leaders.

In family news, Anna Belle turned 13 this month! Just as we are wrapping up the "Preschooler in the House" era of our lives, the "Teenager in the House" era is beginning. So far, so good! Our teenager is leaning into her growing interest in art, and adjusting pretty well to moving to a new country during a pandemic. All three kids are wrapping up their school semesters, and really looking forward to the winter break from school.
