Updates

This month we observed a moment in which three kids, from three countries, speaking three languages, instantly set aside their differences and were united when one of them began spontaneously singing a song, and the rest joined in. A great preview; we're looking forward to the finale.

We are doing well. We were happy to welcome a friend from Maryland. We had a smooth visa run to Nicaragua. We have entered November in Costa Rica, a transitional month (like autumn) between the rainy and dry seasons. We've also reached the point in the semester where we've learned a lot, and rejoice to see how far we've come, and at the same time are feeling pretty tired.

Update on our mascota (pet): Tad survived and grew, until he finally got old enough to escape. The kids enjoyed our month of taking care of him.
